About Patrick County
Patrick County is contained in both the Piedmont Region and mountains of Southwest Virginia. Patrick County is home to two of only eight covered bridges remaining in Virginia. Visitors can enjoy many attractions and activities such as festivals, farms and orchards, unique dining options, parks, trails, outdoor recreation, arts, crafts, music and “Agritourism.” Popular sites of interest in Patrick County include Doe Run Farm, Wade’s Orchard, Hidden Treasures Artisan Trail, Gordon Trent Golf Course, Fairy Stone State Park, Bob White and Jack’s Creek Covered Bridge, Civil War Reenactment at Laurel Hill, and much more.
